We hope that all pupils will want to come back, we can reassure you that :
All Teachers have completed a Covid 19 course and hold certificates.
There will have been a full clean of the Dance Studio, toilets and all equipment.
There will be marked spaces on barres and the floor.
Hand Sanitiser will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
No teachers or students should attend if they or members of their household are displaying symptoms of Covid 19 – high temperature, new cough, change in sense of smell or taste.
The timetable allows for sufficient time for cleaning and sanitising the Studio between classes.
And, from Helen Rees, the Chairman of the Harlow Ballet Association:
I hope that you are all safe and well and looking forward to the gradual easing of the restrictions that we have been living with for the last year. As the Harlow Ballet School is preparing to re-open at The Playhouse this month, the HBA is keenly awaiting the time when we are able once agin to begin rehearsing and performing. The purpose of the Association is to give its members the opportunity to perform on stage and experience all the joy that this brings. We have many possible plans for the future, which we cannot wait to get going with, as soon as we are able.
It is at times like these that it becomes very easy to look back and reminisce. My mind returns fondly to recent performances like Cinderella and Don Quixote, as well as many performances of the classics such as The Nutcracker or Coppélia. All of these productions have given members both young and old the opportunity to dance and perform on The Playhouse stage. We cannot wait to experience the thrill of performing with you all again. Please stay safe and well and above all, "Keep Dancing"!
